I'm an Associate Publisher with Wiley, working mostly on Wrox books. In that role I work with a team of Acquisitions Editors and Executive Editors who find authors for books in just about every professional programming and web development topic. Prior to this I was the editor-in-chief for the now-defunct Exchange & Outlook magazine and the also too-short-lived .NET Magazine. I've been in other technical publishing jobs my whole career and have been lucky enough to work with some of the best authors in the business. My education is a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Wabash College (a traditional liberal arts school) and an M.S. in Mathematics from Chicago State University. Work isn't everything. I've got a wonderful wife a terrific little son (wow he's growing so fast every day), a baby girl I can't resist, and and I'm learning every day to spend more time with them and less time working.
