ASP.NET 2.0 Books feel good

I'm holding copies of our first ASP.NET 2.0 final release books in my hand. (Excuse me for not only showing off my mug here but for the blurry dark camera phone pic). In my right hand Professional ASP.NET 2.0, in my left, Professional Web Parts and Custom Controls with ASP.NET 2.0.

Aspnet20 I haven't heard the term lately but some publishing people talk about a book's "hand" - how the book feels when you pick it up. It is of course a 100% subjective thing but for me, both of these books have a good hand. I can feel the blood and sweat of more than a year's work on each.

As much as love loved my magazine editor gig a few years back, and as much as I learned from it (not just about publishing and technology but about myself), I really missed the feel of published books each month when I saw the new magazine issue.
