Eric van der Vlist on the Fun and Hard Work of book writing

Eric van der Vlist writes some about how writing Professional Web 2.0 Programming was fun but hard work. I think he's got some very good insight into the whole book and writing process, especially some of the things the author team did to make the writing process for a 5 person team work well - much better than most multi-author books.

His post is a good read for anyone wondering about how they went about writing a "Web 2.0" book or more generally, what tools and philosophies multi-author teams might consider to make their projects work smoothly for them and in the finished product for the reader.
