Another year, another Naked Anniversay

As Scoble points out and Shel points out, another year has gone by since the big dinner that sealed the deal for Wiley to be the lucky publisher working with him and Shel on Naked Conversations. And yes, again, as much as I enjoyed that dinner, it was nice to be home last night for Valentines. :)

Naked Conversations continues to amaze me now more than a year after it has published in 2 ways:

1. I really expected the book to be more of a "flash in the pan" - hot for a few months but surely after that everyone will know about blogging and won't need it anymore. How I couldn't have been more wrong as the the strong Amazon ranking and our own sales data show that this still continues to sell well
2. That Shel and Robert are both more in demand than ever for speaking engagements about business blogging. Again, I'd have thought this would whither faster but I think if their wives and lives could handle the travel schedule, they could speak to full rooms on blogging 365 days a year.

And guys, I can tell you your book has had a much wider influence within Wiley than just mine and Joe's blogs. You may not see it all, and there may not be evidence of it all yet, but more good things are coming I think.
